The Hansons // FAMILY

Some couples are just the sweetest. They have amazing families, great friends and such an aura of happiness about them. Beth & Ronnie are one such pair. So, I was thrilled to hear from them just before they were to celebrate their 4th Wedding Anniversary. They wanted to set up a family session to mark the occasion and get some photos of them with their two adorable twin boys, Charlie & Henry!

It was a gorgeous summer day at the beach in Oakville and I had a blast catching up with them between snaps. The boys have a great sense of adventure and cheeky little smiles to boot!

Congrats on your growing family Beth & Ronnie - can't wait to get together again soon!

Baby Andre // NEWBORN

Some babies just have those pinchable cheeks that are simply irresistible! I imagine that Andre gets a lot of attention when he heads out with his parents. I mean, look at that face! He was a perfect little portrait subject and won me over quickly!

Congrats to Umy & Richard on their new addition - he is truly adorable! Thanks for inviting me into your home to capture this special time in your lives. He's bound to be a heartbreaker!

Baby Evelyn // NEWBORN

Emily & Vern invited us into their lives for their fantastic wedding, and I've had the pleasure of meeting with them again for a maternity session and newborn session when their first son, Edwin arrived. So, I was ecstatic to hear from them recently and learn that they were expecting their second baby!

Enter Baby Evelyn. The most adorable little girl who is surrounded by so much love. I had a blast connecting with them again, catching up, seeing how much Edwin had grown and capturing some photos of Emily at her tiniest. We even managed to head outdoors for some family photos as well - a perfect session for a lovely little family!

T&L // The New Look

New year, new look, new beginnings.

It's that time of year when things change. The fresh promise of a new year ahead allows us the freedom to plan for the future and reflect on our past.

As we jump into January Trevor & I are excited to move forward with a new logo, website and blog. It's been great to comb through all our images, do some editing and work together to create a new brand and style we think truly reflects our work. Browse through and let us know what you think - we hope you love it as much as we do. Oh, and be sure to stay tuned as we have lots of exciting announcements and changes on the horizon that we can't wait to share!

May 2016 bring you all of the freedom, happiness and love that you're searching for.

The Zarbs // FAMILY

There's nothing better than a baby who loves the camera. Graham won me over instantly as he flirted with from the moment we met. With that smile and those big blue eye's he's sure to be a handful!

The Zarbs have been with us since their wedding back in 2010, and since they tied the knot I've been luck enough to work with them for three more family portrait sessions.

Recently they welcomed a new addition to the family and we had a blast re-connect for this little bean's first professional portraits.
Check out this adorable family in their Toronto home:

Old News?

Unfortunately, our new site doesn't support the content from our old blog, but we've moved over a few posts for you to enjoy below. In the mean time, please stop by our portfolio page, or browse through one of our featured weddings to get a well-rounded sense of our style.

Siobhan & Craig // WED

I remember a past bride whispering to me on her wedding day... watch out, she's next!  So naturally, we were thrilled to hear from Siobhan when Craig proposed, and even more excited when we heard their plans included an amazing downtown location, a grand celebration and a softly lit, winter ceremony in the early evening.

Theirs was a winter wedding filled with class, style, rustic decor and a lot of ambient love.  The ceremony and reception were both held at The Burroughes downtown - the perfect spot for these two to host a wedding & party all their own.  From the early-evening ceremony to the after-dinner ice cream cart, every detail was covered and the party was a hit.

Gillian & Karl // WED

Jill & Karl are a special kind of pair.  Not only are they perfect for each other, but they are truly sweet, caring, thoughtful individuals - the type of people that you'd like to sit down and share a glass of wine with.  Or, failing that - perhaps one (or three) of Jill's delicious homemade cupcakes!

When we were asked to join them and capture the love, energy and excitement of their Toronto post-wedding reception we were thrilled to be there to cover the celebration.  Having officially tied the knot on the sandy beaches of Aruba a few months prior, their day at Scarboro Golf Club was to be one filled with friends, family and - oh yeah - a second chance to show off that amazing dress!

It was easy to feel the love in the room and see the joy on the newlyweds faces - a true reflection of their amazing personalities the place was packed with warm smiles, big hugs, lots of laughter and some heartfelt speeches.

Michele & Greg // FAMILY

I absolutely love having the opportunity to work with past wedding couples again to commemorate new life events.  Seeing Michele & Greg again to document their excitement & love as they anticipate becoming new parents was no exception.  They will be having a spring baby, and are waiting until delivery day to see if it's a little boy or girl, which I just love.  So much anticipation, excitement and love rolled into one event.

We opted for a cozy session in their amazing home on a snowy winter day.  I like incorporating the home into these shoots, it's a great record of this slice of time and will always have more meaning and history to the couple as the years pass by.

Kate & Luke // WED

A calm lake breeze falls brushes your face as you glance up at a deep blue sky.  It seems somehow appropriate that there's not a cloud in sight as these two high school sweethearts move forward together as husband & wife.  Gathered round are family and friends - a tight knit group of people who have come together to celebrate this pair and support their new adventure.

Kate & Luke are such a genuine, sweet couple - from the moment we met we were drawn to their excited outlook and couldn't wait to hear more about their plans.  Well, as expected things came together flawlessly from the amazing attention to detail the romantic late-night lantern release.  It was a wedding filled with love and a sense of pure, sweet happiness by the lake at Cobble Beach.

Here's wishing you both years and years of love and happiness!
