You might remember Jordan & Bill from a few years back when we had the pleasure of doing a "Trash The Dress" session with this pair about a year after their wedding. I was excited to hear that this duo was pregnant and I jumped at the chance to work with them again! I've known Jordan since high school and trust me when I say that she's one of those people who you just see as a mother... I was truly happy for them when I heard there were about to have a family of their own. It was great to catch up and work with them again.

I met up with this pair at their cozy apartment for a casual session using only natural light, which steamed in through the windows. I love working with couple's for sessions like this in their own space, I think it offers a great sense of familiarity for the couple and a comfort level that cannot be found in a studio or rented spaces. Plus, it gives me a chance to do a few couple's portraits for them in their home as well, something I think is a great keepsake.

UPDATE: Baby Braeden William Robert Shaw was born on September 28th, at 2:51pm. He was 8 pounds even and spent a little time at the hospital with Mom & Dad, but is now home where he belongs and doing well! We wish you three all the best!!!
